Who We Are

A platform built for social organizations, not for banks.

We work at the intersection of financial education and social economy, bringing practical tools to organizations that create real community impact.

Our Mission

Why did we build this platform?

Sinergia Vital COI emerged from a clear observation: cooperatives, nonprofits, and community associations in Colombia are doing transformative social work, but many face significant difficulties when it comes to understanding and communicating their own financial reality.

This is not because the people involved lack intelligence or commitment. It is because the financial tools and vocabulary available were designed for a completely different kind of organization. We built this platform to close that gap.

Our programs connect the technical aspects of financial management with the values and governance structures that make social organizations distinct. The result is training that people can actually use, in the meetings and assemblies where decisions get made.

Our Values

What guides our work?

Transparency

We model what we teach. Our processes, methodologies, and materials are open and explainable. We do not hide behind jargon, in our programs or in how we operate.

Contextual Relevance

Every program starts from the actual reality of the organizations we work with. We do not apply generic frameworks that ignore the specific legal, cultural, and operational context of Colombian social organizations.

Collective Capacity

We build knowledge at the organizational level, not just for individual finance officers. When the whole team understands the numbers, better decisions follow naturally.

Wellbeing Economics

Financial sustainability and social impact are not competing goals. Our curriculum is grounded in the understanding that economic decisions in social organizations should serve the wellbeing of members and communities, not just balance sheets.
